I opened a business account at the branch and regret about it ever since. 1) It took me 31calls / 508minutes on a phone to unlock my account due to "fraud alert" (me trying to access my account from a new computer). 2) The Vice President (Filomena M.) kindly offered support for my account and simply stopped responding to my calls because the bank froze/ stole/ lost $8800 in wire transactions. All information provided by me was correct and there is no explanation why the money left my account and haven't reached the recipient (its been 5 months now). She explains the situation as "it is hard to track wires" and it is unlikely for me to get the money back. 3) All support calls are being handled by people in Philippines and Guatemala. My requests to be transferred to the USA team were declined (it simply doesn't exist).
Would you recommend Citybank: Grasmere to others? No

Their customer service staff were warm, friendly and hospitable! Citibank has great options when it comes to various accounts. I am so happy that I found the perfect account for me that meets my needs as young woman currently enrolled in graduate school. The only thing that I am dissatisfied with is the fact that they did not waive a overdraft fee, which was the my first and only overdraft with the account. I was also dissatisfied with the fact that the only option I was offered was to sign up for the program that protect overdraft fee which is a credit inquiry that negatively impacted my credit by trying to apply for this feature. Otherwise, I love banking with citibank as they are easily accessible and the customer service has always been exceptional each and every time I go to various citbank locations.
