out of stock of my phone .. wene next day they had it and didnt get a shipment in so she lied to me

Over the holiday, and visiting from Chicago, we purchased an ipad for my spouse and were told that we could try it for 30 days and return without any obligation. It went down hill from there. We returned the ipad (second thoughts) in Chicago and were told we had to pay a 10% restocking fee. When we called the Ft. Wayne store rep (and discussed with all their management) to discuss the situation, our integrity was called in question (ie. We never said that...etc). As a long time AT&T customer, we're now taking this to a higher source and are extremely disappointed in the treatment and total disregard that we're the customer. We would have settled for a middle ground but now it's become a matter of principle and the relationship with AT&T is in question. I run a sales organization and this is not acceptable and reason for my rating and warning: buyer beware.

Customer service representative was very helpful. However, I am extremely disappointed with the warranty service. I was told, very clearly, by AT&T sales personnel that the warranty will cover "any" damage to the phone or it it is lost or stolen. However, when one of our [hones failed, we were informed that we would not receive a new phone, but rather, we would receive a reconditioned, certified AT&T phone. Further, it was explained to us that the warranty would be an instant exchange, however, it is not. Very disappointed. I have been an AY&Y customer for a number of years and find this to be a very disappointing and frustrating development.
