Description: The newest course in the Charlotte region, Red Bridge opened on the Fourth of July in 2009. It is located just off Hwy. 24/27, about 30 minutes east of Charlotte. Architect David Postlethwait, a former protégé of Pete Dye, designed a very playable course that has some bite from the back tees. This semi-private layout has a lot of rolling hills and is bordered by several creeks. The signature design element is—you guessed it—a covered red bridge beside the ninth green.
