Description: Cosmos can be loosely categorized as a seafood restaurant, but the modernistic restaurant with attentive service and a AAA Four Diamond rating goes well beyond such simplistic branding. The restaurant, which is in the middle of the Hennepin Theater District in the Graves 601 Hotel, features a multiple-course tasting menu, available paired with wine or alone, that changes weekly. Recent dinner entrées include wild rice–crusted ahi tuna with rock shrimp, lemon sunchoke puree, and root vegetable remoulade; vanilla butter poached lobster with sweet onion risotto and red curry reduction; and a grilled Colorado lamb chop with cabbage-wrapped lamb confit, rosemary demi, and Verjus grape compote. For dessert, you’re unlikely to go wrong with the heavenly chocolate fig tart. The restaurant, in a hotel, is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Cosmos is also open on holidays with special menus. Eating at one of the earlier meals can save some money while still giving you access to Cosmos’s first-class dishes.
