Description: Tens of thousands of lights adorn the grounds of this Oz-like temple looming above the Capital Beltway. Inside the visitor center are Christmas trees bearing decorations from around the world. The temple itself is open only to those of the Mormon faith. (See the Worship chapter for more information.)

Its mission is the development of stronger, more encouraging families through step-by-step education, skill training, and support.
