Clifton Park Golf Course - Parks & Recreation - Baltimore, Maryland

City: Baltimore, MD
Category: Parks & Recreation
Telephone: (410) 243-3500
Address: 2701 St. Lo Dr.

Description: This Baltimore City–owned course has been good for beginning and intermediate players, because the 5,714-yard course has no water and had a few trees. As a way to enhance your visual appreciation, improve the environment, and maybe challenge you a little bit more, more than 100 trees were planted on October 3, 2009, as part of the 7th Annual Ricky Myers Day of Service and Baltimore City’s TreeBaltimore action plan. Greens fees range from $8 for juniors to $30 for adults, a good bargain for people in the city, especially golfers who like to walk. The cost is the same whether you ride or walk. Giving this par 70 course an urban flavor are the several roads that run nearby (all of which are out of bounds). Golf pro Mark Paolini offers lessons, while the course provides practice greens, a restaurant, and a snack bar.
