Is this becoming a nationwide problem?

Anecdotally and statistically homeowner's, as well as other types of insurance, have increased by double digits the last few years.

Car insurance is at least partially being blamed on the increased cost of insuring EVS while homeowners the various natural disasters (flooding, fires) as well as double digit increases in materials and repair part prices.

We're a long ways away from a fire station. Definitely in a fire danger area. We've worked crazy hard to mitigate our property but far from being "safe". We,ve been trying to put safety in everything. We only have ourselves to rely on . Thank the Lord we're able!

Same with us on insurance. We won't even allow a contractor on our place. As long as the great Lord allows, we'll fix what needs to be done ourselves anyway. We only use steel roof and realize it could be damaged immediately.

For myself, I've bought the last new truck. I'll be going back to a decent clunker with just liability. We do all our own auto repair anyway.

Hell of a state our country is in!

This is nothing but a "global warming" scam site, but it does help insurance companies excuse their rate increases.

Buying property in a flood zone is dumber than driving a Dodge puckup.
