This is wonderful news

If I was an Investor,Developer or Company,I would definitely startup in the Bay Area or in California, because this state really opens up a lot of doors, which is why many successful companies in this state have expanded to other parts of the Country.

It should also be noted despite retail vacancies, luxury is thriving downtown i.e. Bottega Veneta, Cucinelli and Yves Saint Laurent have all invested in/expanded their space.

In other words, the headlines are often deceiving as to a new generation of innovation and investment with continued access to venture capital, leading universities and so on. In fact, Silicon Valley remains at the top of the list in the global startup ecosystem rankings relative to performance, market reach, knowledge, funding, connectedness and talent.

A couple of rich people have more breathing room to shop for leather hot pink pumps and suddenly SF is a boomtoom now?

Do you realize what the unemployment rate in California is?

Do you? Do you understand what constitutes a good unemployment rate? It doesn't sound like it.
