Pawtucket has made Money Magazine’s list of 50 Best places to live in the US for 2024.

They note that “this historic mill town is artsy and affordable”. And how can you argue with that?

I'm happy to see Pawtucket get some positive attention. I think the train station is already proving to be a difference maker. Lots of nice mill conversions (many happened before the station broke ground) and several significant proposals around it too. I hope that momentum bleeds further into the downtown area. It has great urban bones and should attract more and more interest as prices elsewhere continue to climb. We're in Pawtucket quite a bit for restaurants, breweries, and even breakfast/coffee (big fans of Maven's and Seed), etc.

Pawtucket has some terrific neighborhoods. I particularly like Countryside & Quality Hill.

The ad is probably targeted. My guess is the algorithm can identify fearful people. And perhaps other city-data forum users, due to guilt by association.

I have long thought the train station would have a positive impact in Pawtucket. I’ll never understand why RIDOT put a station in North Kingstown before Pawtucket.

When I was looking to buy in RI, I looked at Oak Hill and Quality Hill in Pawtucket. I really like the Quality Hill houses, but I got outbid in my efforts to buy there. I have a friend who lives in one of those gorgeous houses.

It’s been about a month since I ate at a restaurant in Pawtucket (La Arepa, which I love). I do need to try some other places.

It's right here, genius.

Pawtucket is in some great company, as we see here.
