Mostly caused by presumptions made about scriptures and God as being true without any questioning whatsoever.
"Scriptures circular-logic"
Common examples include "using Bible to prove Bible" and "using Bible to prove God". Religious people presume all truth in scriptures, when faced with skepticism, they can only turn to what's in the scriptures for proofs. They have no ability of doing any independent reasoning.
"God circular-logic"
By presuming an all-making-creator that looks just like God-worshipers themselves, whenever they see something, they see evidence of their God. Also, because they presume their God looks like themselves, they think they are the "chosen ones". That's the whole point of a personal God.
