Cut and paste!!!! (gospels, quote, believe, origin)

Can I make a suggestion please

I read some posts that have cut and paste items that are ridiculously long

Can I sugguest that if we are going to put something that is that long that we just copy and past the HYPERLINK to the item instead of the WHOLE text?????

I myself have probably done this sorry

Wouldn't it be easier to just make your comments and then put the hyperlink to the other items?

What does everyone think? It would make reading things a LOT easier IMO

Although I rarely cut and paste (not very good at it), I do think the hyperlink for long articles is best. If a post sounds very interesting and I have an opinion and want to post, but the link and it is miles and miles long I just go on to another thread.

I tried that once and nobody responded. I don't think anyone read the link. Also, I think it is useful when posting articles to cut and paste and then highlight the parts you think are particularly worthy of discussion with bold text or a color so that they are still within their original context but can be easily noted.

I cut and paste for two reasons. 1 I am trying to make a good case so I will not have to post 300 times to get my point across. And 2 it shows what other Experts are saying and not just me making stuff up. Some times it is long because people do not look at the link. Also the topic some times needs a lot of explaining to get your points across. I do not like it when people have a great argument/debate and the one person cites webpage’s and has a great argument but the other person they are debating writes less than a sentence. I believe that is disrespectful and if you are going to respond with less than a sentence than you should not respond at all.
