There was a time when former president Evo Morales was a big friend of Hugo Chavez. Did the relations between Bolivia and Venezuela have deteriorated since then?

I may be mistaken, but doesn't it say a single aircraft was shot down by two Bolivarian fighter jets? Bolivia is nowhere near Venezuela. Still, it's an interesting development.

Venezuela is the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela officially. The Bolivarian military is the Venezuelan military. Venezuelan F16s shot down an intruder. Bolivia had nothing to do with it. (Comes from Simon Bolivar).

Wrong. This incident had nothing to do with Bolivia.

Apparently, “Bolivarian Military Aviation” is the name of the Venezuelan Air Force. So 2 Venezuelan F-16s shot down 2 unidentified planes.

Never understood why we sold them the F-16 in 1983 at that time it was the best fighter jet for the USAF at the time. This is just like Iran ended up with F-14's. Maybe we should sell F-22's to Mexico. This was under Reagan mistake he made. Ukraine getting F-16s now I can understand that because it's no longer a primary fighter we have F-35's and 22's.

I wonder if they will make public where those 2 "unidentified" planes came from
