Just wondering as someone had suggested it was a good place for shagging (the dance) when we go to MB on vacation this year. What other places do you recommend?

If you're looking to Shag... head on up to Duck's or Fat Harolds in NMB on Ocean Drive near 'The Horseshoe'. 2001 typically caters to a little more mature crowd, not necessarily 'old' per say, just no "tweens" and mostly over 35+.

Might also suggest Revolutions in you like retro music of say, the 60's-80's. Revolutions is at Broadway At the Beach. While you're there, you may as well stop in to crocodile Rocks and expereince the 'Duelin Piano's'. Always a good time there!

2001 is great when they have the Beach Bands there--they don't have them EVERY night! Mark Roberts and the Breeze is the "weekend" band this year.
OD Resort has bands either on weekends, and during the season, on Wed. nights.
Fat Harolds has a Sunday afternoon band during the winter. The other venues are pretty much just DJ's (some shaggers LOVE DJs--I prefer a real band!!!)
Come summer, hopefully, Dynamites will re-open--it's on the intracoastal at a marina....lovely outdoor covered space with live Beach bands.
