I will be down January and February for golf and other shenanigans (FWB). Using the Golf Passport and Golfnow. Are there any other discount tee time avenues I should pursue? Any comments on course conditions would be helpful. Also what happy hours should I hit up?
These two discount cards are as good as any. To spend additional $$ on more cards doesn't really pay off unless you play a LOT of golf. Course conditions will be decent but definitely not like summer. Some courses overseed with rye and everything is nice and green...others do only the fairways. Greens can be an adventure depending on the course. The more expensive courses, of course, will have better conditions. Sorry, can't help you with happy hours...not my cup of tea. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
Played Kings North one of the best in the area. Thistle probably the best down here. Gave Glen Dornoch a shot also all are top shelf tracks I excellent shape.
