Does anyone have information about the noise along the Kings River Rd area near Caledonia at 6:30 yesterday morning? It lasted for over an hour!!!! We thought it was fireworks, but someone told us it was probably duck hunters.
Now I'm no hunter, but the clustering and intermittent "Booms" makes me a mite skeptical of that explanation, but I can be swayed.
Any insights on this phenomenon??
Saturday was the first day of duck season. That will be our alarm clock for the next couple months, 1/2 hour before sunrise. Traditionally, first day has lots of hunters with lots of trigger pulling to open the season. Ducks are optional.
Oh bother....that's as bad as the leaf blowers. How long will this last?
