My child will be going to school in Seaside and my husband works in Palo Alto. Would Capitola or Aptos be a good half way point for us? Any recommendations for apartments or property management companies?

Thanks in Advance!!!

"Going to school" in Seaside? Would that be at the state university there? While Palo Alto to Capitola/Aptos doesn't seem like a long distance particularly, on a traffic-free day, the commute traffic was brutal prior to Covid. A better choice for people working in PA would be Scotts Valley, though I don't know how the town fared in the Santa Cruz County fires last year. If you're worried about fires, a beachside community would be better.

If you're living in or near PA now, would it really be necessary to move, to be closer to a college student? I'm not sure it would be worth it to set your husband up for a tough commute. I know nothing of your and the student's circumstances, though.
