Curious if anyone lives here or knows what it's like?

I've thought about living there, but never have. I know a few people who do, though, and they all love it.

The area seems like it could have some sketchy parts, and I know that the parkway occasionally turns up dead bodies, at least it dead ten years ago, anyways. There are also parts that are kind of yippified.

Bryn Mawr itself doesn't have sketchy parts, it simply borders on North Mpls.. Once you get further towards Glenwood, and particularly across Olson Memorial, things get worse quickly.
There haven't been bodies on Wirth Parkway for a few years, at least in my memory. Even when there were, it was just a dumping ground for a crime that happened elsewhere.
Anyways, Bryn Mawr is a very family-friendly, quiet and progressive area. Alot of Subaru environmentalist types. It is kind of a geographic island, and there are only a few shops in the neighborhood. Very good elem. school.

In a few words: expensive, quiet, generally older population
