I have been trying, with no luck, to find a hotel that has a suite that will hold our family. Does anyone happen to know of one that offers possibly a 2 bedroom suite? We have 7 people in our family I have always been able to find somewhere that offers a 2 bedroom with a pull out sofa when we have travelled but am just not having luck up your way. My husband will have meetings in Eden Prairie while the kids and I are out getting a feel for the area (also moving up your way soon)....so something close to Eden Prairie.
Thank you so much to anyone that can steer me in the right direction!

I would look in Bloomington--maybe the Hilton on American Blvd and France Ave. Also, do a google search on Bloomington, MN hotels and anything west of 35 is easy commute distance to Eden Prairie. There just aren't a lot of hotels in Eden Prairie proper.

Isn't there a Residence Inn right off 494 on Flying Cloud Drive in Eden Prairie? I know there used to be.

Do search Bloomington and also Edina.

A google search of "eden prairie hotel and suites" brought up at least a few possibilities that all seem to have 2-room suites:

TownePlace Suites Minneapolis Eden Prairie

Eden Prairie Hotel near Minneapolis | SpringHill Suites by Marriott

Homestead Studio Suites Hotels - Eden Prairie, MN Hotel

All of those are right in the general area I was thinking of. Maybe the Residence Inn I was thinking of is actually one of those 3. Residence, Towne Place, and Spring Hill are all Marriott brands.

I wonder if the "Radish Tree" (formerly Radisson South, formerly Sheraton, now Double Tree) at 494 and 100 would be a possible choice? It's quite close to the border, and the suites and cabana rooms can be rather nice. Most of my memories are from the past during Minicon or Convergence, tho, so the hotel wasn't really in its normal state.

The Radisson in Bloomington (attached to the Water Park of America) has family suites with 2 king beds and bunk beds.

RadishTree?

That's great! I hadn't noticed the Sheraton became a DoubleTree. When did that happen?
