Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knew of anyone or a company who refinishes wood floors. We pulled up rugs and want to have four rooms done fairly soon.

Any recommendations??

They're in Sound Beach.

my brother does it, from what I understand, the guy he works for charges a bit more than others, but their work is without a doubt the best I've seen. PM me if interested, I can get you their info.

I would be curious what the ballpark figure would be for sanding, staining and sealing 4 rooms. Also, if we want to use our own sealer, would they put it down?

Thanks!

It would usually depend on how big the rooms are as they charge by square foot

Also it will depend on how many coats of poly they will put on (two or three).

A significantly lower quote may only include sanding + two coats of poly. You won't be happy with the result if you go with only that.

What is the price range per square foot, and is there generally a "volume" discount? Debating whether to do a few rooms at once, or just the one that really needs it.
