I am a single mother of two school age children and am trying to return to school at NSU. I am in need of a decent 2 bedroom apt or house to rent but am on a restricted income with bad credit thanks to a previous marriage that was not healthy. School starts in a week, and I really need to find somewhere cheap to live. If anyone has any suggestions please help me...

I went to ODU, and they had an off campus student housing board in the Webb center. You could check it out, or see if NSU has something like that.

Defintely try craigslist and look for private renters. Private renters are usually more sympathetic with bad credit.
