4th worst for Mental Health care, behind 3 states that should be of no surprise to anyone: Texas, Georgia, and Alabama.

10th worst for dental health care:

OB/GYN and birthing hospitals leave 13 Florida counties a maternity care desert, with ZERO care available in those counties. And 11% of Floridians have no birthing hospital within a 30-minute drive.

Florida also has the worst, and among the worst, Senior health care (various sub-categories make it either THE worst or ALMOST the worst):

Home Health Aide availability - https://members.homecarefla.org/news...workers-170013

My God OP do you get some perverse satisfaction over miserable all the time? Do yourself and everyone else a favor and just move away already. Maybe take Sinatras with you. Hopefully you two can find what you are looking for somewhere.

There just comes a time when you got to put up or shut up. The constant complaining is just crazy.

Find a place that has what you are looking for and go for it.

I don’t understand it either. I thought the Affordable Care Act was supposed to make health care equally accessible and affordable for everyone. So what’s with these lists? Or am I wrong about the ACA?

Guess the ACA didn’t work out too well after all. I don’t blame Florida. I blame Obama. All these empty promises.

It’ll change. You’ve got more and more professionals moving to the state.
And population increase in general. More people, more demand for services, more health facilities, more money for those in the profession and it’s offshoots.
The medical game will no doubt have to step it up moving forward.

I have numerous family and friends all across the state. From what I’ve heard and been told, and experienced myself, it ain’t so bad.

It’s not. Many of the doctors I’ve encountered here in Palm Beach County come from the Northeast. In fact, a family member happens to use the same cardiologist they used in Connecticut, who relocated to Florida.

Look at the bright side, you might be 10th worse in the US, but you are still ahead of the UK.
