Ladies, what are your favorite primers? I've heard many rave about Smashbox's Photo Ready, and some say it's only so-so.

Yesterday I purchased my first non drugstore primer, Stila's One Step. I also bought Urban Decay's Eyeshadow primer. Haven't tried either yet.

What are you ladies using? Any you've been wanting to try?

I don't use a primer. I just use facial moisturizer (even on my eyelids) and it seems to do the job better at leaving the eyeshadow on.

I usually don't either, however they seem to be all the rage now, so I figured I'd try. Plus if they actually work in my work environment, I'll take it!

Next time I'm in CVS pharmacy, I check them out and see what's out there.

I tried the L'Oreal primer, liked the look and feel but but must be allergic or something, got little bumps in my skin and I have never had a problem w/any makeup, moisturizers or anything. I want(ed) a primer because I have larger pores and oily skin and was hoping that would help.

Drugstore: Rimmel Fix and Perfect works well for such an inexpensive item.

High end: Sothys Pore Refiner System is just fantastic.

I do like Photo Ready, but I worry about the potential for breakouts.

I use that, I like it a lot better than department store brands.

I didn't care for the Smashbox, so I stopped using it. My face started to break out. Actually, I agree that some of the Rimmel stuff is pretty decent for the price.
