It was on Fox news earlier that 70 dogs have died as a result of eating chicken jerky treats made from chicken that has come from China. Kingdom Pets brand from Costco is one of them. Also certain Blue Buffalo brand pet foods have a recall for the same thing. Please re post and make sure all your doggie friends are aware of this!!!! Don't buy consumable products made in China!!!!!!
IF you folks Remember the reason I didn get the Papillon Rescue was they didnt think the Diet I was planning of feeding was Good enough..... & here the Food They wanted me to Feed isBeing Recalled!!! Gosh I hope she ok!
The chicken jerky stuff has been known for awhile
Where is the actual news that Blue Buffalo has been recalled; the recall is not listed on the FDA animal foods, pet foods website.
I am on another forum and the fox peice I found did not mention blue buffalo and it did mention 70 dead, but that was THIS year.....this has been going on since 2007 (dogs dying after eating chicken jerky treats from China) and there is a warning on the FDA web page
Fox news clearly stated the FDA was not recalling because there is no defect they can identify...so they are urging caution.
After 2007 and the melamine issue I refuse to buy ANY food sourced in China. I wont even buy the fish from Walmart caught in the North Pacific Alaskan Waters and processed in China.
Oh wow, this is awful about the recall. I always make sure that what I buy for my dog is "made in the USA". He's been on numerous of foods in the past, and Blue Buffalo was one of them. He didn't like it and literally walked away from it. Not just that, he went three days without eating much to none when he was on Blue Buffalo. He's a smart doggie in many ways. He's eating what the show dog folks feed their dogs: Pro-Plan
That why my dogs eat what I eat! Sorry I was Miss Informed! Another screwup by that woman grrrrr BTW I did know about the Chicken Treats.... Like Everyone on this forums been talking about it for Months!
The thing about Blue Buffalo is all over the Web. I dont feed the food but I know it has a good reputation.....so in all fairness........I did go to the FDA webpage and sure could not find anything either though.
