I think it's in bad taste to reward people based on being vaccinated. Maybe as bad as when a company becomes politicized or goes "woke". Usually its not wise for the bottom line, depending where they're located.
It looks bad to deny service to gay people or to print BLM on a coffee cup. There's always a huge portion of your customers who are alienated.
People, it's a marketing strategy to get people in the door because they know they are going to probably buy more (because who eats just 1 Krispy Kreme?) and they will more than likely buy at least a cup of coffee even if they resist the temptation to buy more doughnuts. Now if they offered a dozen free doughnuts... j/k, I already got my first shot.
No krispy kreme near me too (I think) plus they give me heartburn so vaccine or not I don't need a free doughnut.
