I'm going to document my progress to keep track.
I'm 58 this month, female, 5'8" (lost an inch along the way), I'm about 135# and I don't really want to lose any. I should be about 140. My job keeps me active and I have to be able to climb ladders to get on a roof if necessary so I have to stay fit.
I recently relocated and met a great group of characters mostly my age and older who run marathons and more. One 75yr old man recently ran a 100 miler. There's a 50K coming up. I'll be working an aid station!
But I'm going to get back into it. This is the perfect place to run. The most I've done is 10K. We shall see. Not too sure I want to do really long distances.
Today I ran almost 2.5 miles on the treadmill. I shoot for 30 minutes. Decent start. Hills kill me. There are a lot of them here so I did some incline running. Ugh.
Btw, I ran sock footed. I need better running shoes and I want to get my feet stronger anyway.

Did the Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot yesterday. 5K. There was a bit of an uphill and I slowed to a power walk some of the way. Finished and felt fine. It was a good workout.
I'm going to do a hike today. 2 miles up, I'll trot on theway down. I love that mountain and was hiking it after work regularly until the time change. But today is our early day so I have no excuse!
My friends are going to take me on a 10 mile hike. Gulp! Uphill. Gotta get in shape. Heaven help me.

I didn't quite make the 2 mile mark. At least I don't think I did. Unless the marker was gone. But the sun was setting and I was a little sore from yesterday. I trotted most of the way down. It was probably about 3-1/2 miles. It's pretty steep in places. On my way out...
