Hey I'm moving to Columbus in June for work and was trying to see what a good school district, parks and kid friendly things to do for kids between 4-12...

The Columbus housing market is totally nuts right now. Are you looking to rent or buy? You may be better off selecting a number of areas you are interested in and then getting somewhere to live. What are the qualities you are looking for in a school district?

A little more information about what you're looking for would be great. Columbus has a fantastic metro park system as well as many great local parks and kid friendly things to do. And as the person above me said, the market is crazy right now. I just bought a house last fall. Houses don't last long on the market, especially in the better school districts

The school district break down is approximately:

Best:

Dublin
New Albany
Olentangy
Bexley
Upper Arlington

Great:

Grandview
Worthington
Hilliard
Gahanna
Westerville

Decent:

Pickerington
Canal Winchester
Hamilton

A lot of average to below average districts

Avoid at all costs:

Whitehall
Groveport-Madison
Columbus City

I grew up in Cbus/Upper Arlington, and also lived in Cincinnati. My best friends live in Dublin. UA or Dublin fit the things you're looking for. Where in CBUS is your job located? UA is closer to downtown/Ohio State.
