I'm an age 29 engineer new to columbus and looking to meet a single woman. I tried tinder but was disapointed with the quality of women on there. I've tried one bar local to my apartment complex and one club. I stayed for several hours and saw it was mostly couples ariving together or groups of men. I assume I am going to the wrong spots. Can anybody give me some pointers of places to try? I have not tried uptown yet.

If you're just trying to pick up women at a bar, I'd really expect to have better luck at the bars on Broadway than anywhere else in town. The Loft, Scruffy Murphy's, or circa are all a pretty good place to start.

Check out Columbus Newcomers events, skating at the Ice Rink. Whitewater and ziplining (weather permitting) Various concerts in town. Anywhere there is live entertainment. Also Columbus State athletics, and other events(check the CSU events calendar).
