No markings on this piece. Some sort of small pedestal like piece which is 2 3/4 inches high and the top is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Also what would this piece be called and used for? Is the emblem on the bottom recognizable? Thanks.

It looks like the coat of arms of the Great Britain.

I don't think so... Looks like modern Chinese reproduction of Flow Blue. There is missing information around the crest. This mark is trying to look old, yet there are no references to it anywhere on the Internet. Very likely vintage style replica Made in China.

This is a cake stand.
