A large tug barge was deposited onto the river bank after severe ice jams and flooding inundated the community. Federal funding in the form of Public Assistance and Individual Assistance is available to state, tribal and eligible local governments for emergency work, debris removal and the repair and or replacement of facilities damaged by the flooding.
