Federal Emergency Management Agency Regional Administrator Nancy Ward celebrates with FEMA Corps team 'FEMA Blue 1' at the FEMA Region 9 office on Staff Appreciation Day. FEMA Blue 1, based out of Sacramento, began serving at the Region 9 office on March 27 and will stay through June 6. FEMA Corps is a partnership between the Federal Emergency Management Agency and AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps that devotes a corps of service members to disaster response, recovery, and mitigation.
