The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is in charge of converting vegetative debris in wood chips for alternative usage. FEMA is working with many partners including federal, state, local and tribal governments, voluntary faith-based and community-based organizations along with the private sector to assist residents impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
