Coast Guard Admiral (Ret.) Thad Allen, a leader in the Federal response to Hurricane Katrina and the National Incident Commander for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, discussed leadership with Recovery’s first National Disaster Recovery Framework Leadership Academy. The class is composed of five newly hired Federal Disaster Recovery Coordinators (FDRC) along with representatives from various FEMA Regions, state officials and Recovery Support Functions.
