The “Whole Community” concept is highlighted in the Western Massachusetts June 1 Tornadoes bringing private sector, local, state officials, and chamber of commerce together to recover from the disaster event. It was possible through the partnerships to have the Basketball Hall of Fame located in Springfield MA to run the MEMA and FEMA registration information on their Bill Board running 24/7 until the registration deadline.
