FEMA Mitigation Planner Tom Miller worked with the Ramona Band of Cahuilla to update its Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan. This plan identified the hazards, risks and mitigation actions which the tribe prioritized. The plan enables the Ramona Band of Cahuilla to apply for hazard mitigation grants, which are designed to reduce or eliminate the long-term risk to human life and property from the effects of natural hazards.
