The Calcasieu Parish Long-Term Community Recovery Center is the first storefront operation to open in Louisiana as part of a coordinated effort between the Louisiana Recovery Authority and FEMA's Long-Term Community Recovery. This center in Lake Charles, Louisiana, is open to citizens, businesses and organizations to gather information on what opportunities exist in rebuilding and restoring the parish as well as express area needs and future recovery suggestions.
