All food should be properly protected from contamination during storage, preparation, display, service, and transportation. Ice is being scooped into cups in the outdoor patio, no handling of any food is allowed out doors. Grease is dripping from the hood interior onto the food being prepared, clean all dripping grease above the entire food preparation area.
All necessary control measures shall be used to effectively minimize or eliminate the presence of rodents, roaches, and other vermin and insects on the premises of all food establishments. 10 live cockroaches and 10 house flies were found in the kitchen and dining areas, and 20 smallflies were found in the basement. Anderson pest control found german cockroaches on 7/15/10. Clean up all evidence of pest activity and pest proof the harborage found in the kitchen walls and baseboards.
The area outside of the establishment used for the storage of garbage shall be clean at all times and shall not constitute a nuisance. The dumpster leaks, is covered with flies and does not close tight, replace and maintain the dumpster so it does not harbor pests.
A separate and distinct offense shall be deemed to have been committed for each Minor violation that is not corrected upon re-inspection by the health authority. Violations from report # 156326 pages 1-3 dated 4/14/09 not corrected include:(32) Dirty clean dish drying racks. (33) Grease coated ventilation hood and cooking equipment. Dirty ice machine interior. (34) Dirty and damaged baseboards must be resaeled so they are smooth and sanitary.
The deep fryer has no hood above it, properly vent fryer per city code.
All cold food shall be stored at a temperature of 40F or less. 30 dozen eggs and 4 pounds of fresh noodles were found in the basement at 51.2 f, 25 pounds of product valued at $40.00 was dumped and denatured.
The hood is no longer dripping and the patio rules are being followed at this time for food service.
Pest activity minimized at this time, pest service was out on 8/18 and 8/25/10.
The dumpster has been replaced.
Violations 32,33 and 34 have been corrected at this time.
The walls and ceilings shall be in good repair and easily cleaned. THE WALLS ARE DIRTY AND GREASY AROUND THE KITCHEN PERIMETER AND CRACKED AND DIRTY IN THE BATHROOM. CLEAN AND MAINTAIN THE WALLS AND CEILINGS SO THEY ARE SMOOTH AND SANITARY FROM TOP TO BOTTOM.
THE KNIVES ARE DIRTY AND THE LADELS ARE STORED IN A WET AREA AND ARE WET AND DIRTY INSIDE; WASH, RINSE AND SANITIZE ALL OF THE FOOD DISPENSING UTENSILS AND EQUIPMENT UNTIL IT IS CLEAN, SANITARY AND MAINTAINED ON A DAILY BASIS.
All food and non-food contact surfaces of equipment and all food storage utensils shall be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized daily. THE EXHAUST HOOD INTERIOR IS DRIPPING GREASE, CLEAN THE HOOD INTERIOR IN DETAIL. REMOVE EXCESS GREASE FROM THE BOTTOMS OF THE COOKING EQUIPMENT.
The floors shall be constructed per code, be smooth and easily cleaned, and be kept clean and in good repair. THE FLOORS ARE DIRTY THROUGHOUT THE FACILITY. CLEAN AND MAINTAIN THE FLOORS AND BASEBOARDS SO THEY ARE SMOOTH AND SANITARY FROM CORNER TO CORNER.
MUST SEAL HOLES AND OPENINGS AT WALL ABOVE AND BELOW THE 3COMP SINK SO AS TO BE SMOOTH AND EASILY CLEANABLE.MUST ALSO REPLACE OR REPAINT WATER DAMAGED CEILING TILES ABOVE THE COCA-COLA REFRIGERATOR.MUST SEAL AROUND PIPE AT WALL UNDER EXPOSED HANDSINK AT THE KITCHEN.MUST CLEAN AND REMOVE DEADE INSECTS FROM LIGHTSHIELDS AT CUSTOMER DINING AREA.
