The Surf and Sand Resort, Laguna Beach, CA

The Surf and Sand Resort has been spoiling guests for more than sixty years at 1555 South Coast Highway, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. The resort features more than 500 feet of ocean shore for guests to play and relax on. It is also conveniently located close to South Coast Plaza for shopping, Dana Wharf Sport fishing and Whale Watching, Captain Dave Dolphin Safari and Disneyland. The Surf and Sand Resort offers weekend getaway packages, wedding packages and business packages.

The guest rooms feature private balconies with oceanfront views, flat screen TV's, wireless Internet access, custom furnishings, and plenty of space. The Tower Corner room has a king sized bed with a 180 degree view from inside the room, a marble entryway, cordless telephone, small seating area, double vanity and separate tub and shower. The Deluxe Towers rooms come with a king size or two queen sized beds and the same amenities as the corner Tower rooms.

In the Surfside building the guest room is a bit smaller with a king sized bed oceanfront view from the balcony. The Seaview King has views that are set back from the beach or guests can look onto the swimming pool. This room type only has a single vanity and shower. There is also a Seaview Queen with two queen sized beds that work well for families.

Thirteen suites are available at the resort with three full rooms, two bathrooms and a dining table. The California Suite has a full view of the ocean, Jacuzzi jets in one bathtub, three flat screen TV's, and sleeps four to six people. The front room of this suite features a sofa sleeper, armoire with the TV inside, hardwood flooring and a mini bar. The middle living room has a fireplace, sofa sleeper, wood beam ceiling and hardwood floors. The master bedroom is carpeted with a king sized bed. The Vista Suite enjoys a whirlpool bath, wet bar, spacious parlor with sofa sleeper, and a private sundeck.

There is a one or two bedroom Penthouse Suite. Both have ocean views. With the two bedroom you have a king and queen size bedroom, two whirlpool baths, fireplace, deluxe wet bar, private balcony and seating areas with sofa sleepers. The Upper Catalina Suite has an ocean view with a king sized bed, whirlpool bath and private sundeck. The Junior Suite has the same amenities with the exception of only a partial view of the ocean.

Aqua Terra Spa is on the oceanfront and offers guests personalized spa treatments. The spa uses native botanicals from the ocean and the earth. They offer specials and packages and an appointment is needed.

Splashes is the restaurant that lies twenty five feet above the ocean waves. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. At beach level is Splashes Lounge where guests can have a cocktail and lighter cuisine.
