The Coastal Trail

The Coastal Trail of San Francisco, California is often being discovered by local residents. The trail runs along many beaches allowing them to be within walking distance of a beach along the path. If anyone wants to take a break from walking the trail they can stop at the ocean. Also Ocean, China, and Bakers Beaches are along the pathway. The trail is magnificent with its foliage, trees, and views. There are several places where the forest and woods encompass the trail blocking the view of the ocean, but it offers a new and peaceful section to the entire walk.

Along the trail are a couple of nude beaches, so you may want to find out what those beaches are before venturing forth. The Coastal Trail lacks many hills allowing you to walk at your own pace on flat ground. In a couple of areas it is possible to feel the work the walk offers, since there are some stairs to climb. Visitors can start in a couple of places on the Coastal Trail such as 25th Avenue and Lake. This starting point takes visitors down towards the Golden Gate Bridge and Park, as well as to Marshall Beach.
