The Balboa Bay Club & Resort is located at 1221 West Coast Highway, Newport Beach, CA 92663. The resort is on fifteen acres on the bay at the heart of Newport Beach. This full service hotel is directly on the waterfront. Shopping is just a short drive from the resort featuring Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza. There is a full bath and a half bath in the living room, a wet bar, dining table for four, and private verandas off the living room and bedroom complete the amenities. The Honeymoon Suite has an extra large Jacuzzi tub and views of Newport Bay. The Governor Suite has 1,700 square feet of space and a dining table that seats ten. There is a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator and bluff views. The Presidential Suite is 3,000 square feet of luxury complete with a Grand Piano. There is a canopied king sized bed in the master bedroom and a queen sized bed in the second bedroom. The living room also features a fireplace, a veranda off the living room has a view of the bar, and the master bedroom has a private veranda as well.
Dining at the Balboa Bay Club & Resort will be at Dukes Place or First Cabin Restaurant. The First Cabin Restaurant is open daily, with breakfast being served from 7:00 am to 11:00 am and lunch from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Dinner is served from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday through Thursday and from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. They have a children's menu, a Sunday a la carte Brunch and a wine list. On the weekend evenings there is live piano music while enjoying the waterfront views. Dukes Place serves specialty cocktails, features jazz music and offers great views of Newport Harbor. They serve light meals or snacks and also have signature drinks. Travel time to the Balboa Bay Club & Resort is about fifteen minutes from John Wayne Airport.
