Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce


The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce is a representation of businesses in Santa Monica, California. It is also a location where one can learn about Santa Monica's history, attractions, accommodations, and restaurants. The chamber of commerce works with the community regarding interests and issues that might arise. They also strive to help the environment through awareness projects and partnerships with local governments.

The chamber of commerce was designed to help promote local economy and resident quality of life. Throughout the year members are able to attend a variety of events such as the State of the City Breakfast. This breakfast is a reception held each January with prominent political representatives of the city in attendance. Speed networking and other events are held throughout the year as another way to get individuals involved in their community.

Membership to the chamber of commerce offers marketing, networking, education, and advocacy benefits. Members have to be business owners, employees, entrepreneurs, or independent sales contractors. Membership is based on annual fee and prospective members are allowed to attend two events before they decide on joining the chamber of commerce. They offer a few membership levels to fit all types of businesses.
