Santa Cruz Main Beach

Santa Cruz Main Beach is one of several beaches in Santa Cruz, California and the surrounding area. The main beach is located in the center of Santa Cruz and is sought by most tourists. It is located close to the Wharf for food, drinks, shopping and other entertainments. Inside of the San Francisco Bay area, Santa Cruz Main Beach is the most popular for family vacations and residents. It is also close to the oldest amusement beach theme park. It was 100 years in 2007. The boardwalk nearby is a state landmark on the historical register.

As part of the boardwalk, there is an arcade with some of the most popular video games including 300 different games like Dance Dance Revolution and SkyTarget Flight Stimulator. They often get new release games quickly. The other games include laser tag, foosball, miniature golf, and air hockey.

For those who come to the beach for sunbathing, there is plenty of sun to be had. Surfing, kayaking, scuba diving, swimming, and other water sports are possible from Santa Cruz Main Beach. A number of hotels are across the street from the main beach and UC Santa Cruz offers summer concerts.
