Santa Cruz Harbor Beach

Santa Cruz Harbor Beach is not sought by many tourists because Santa Cruz Main Beach is where most of the action is. Santa Cruz Main Beach is near Santa Cruz Wharf, the boardwalk, arcade, and numerous restaurants. Though Santa Cruz Harbor Beach is overlooked by tourists, it is sought often by locals. It is adjacent to Santa Cruz Harbor, which means it is also close to shops and restaurants. There is a marina nearby for those who travel by boat.

The main feature of Santa Cruz Harbor Beach is beach volley ball. The sandy beach is soft and pliable for volley ball. There are a few nets setup, life guards in summer, and swimming. Beach combing, scuba diving, surfing, and other water sports can be had at this location too.

To arrive at the beach visitors need to find 5th Avenue at East Cliff Drive in Santa Cruz, California. There is parking near the beach, with a short walk to the large stretch of sand. Within a half mile of Santa Cruz Harbor Beach is Harbor Inn, Bella Notte, Pelican Point Inn, and Terrace Court Motel. Also close is Aldo's Restaurant and Engfer Pizza Works.
