San Luis Obispo Children's Museum

San Luis Obispo Children's Museum in San Luis Obispo or SLO, California is like many hands on attractions for children. They have a mission to educate and entertain children through a variety of different exhibits. Museum hours are 10am to 5pm Monday through Saturday, and Sunday 1pm to 5pm. Holiday hours can change and in summer the museum can be open longer. Admission is $8 for adults and children. Seniors are $5 per senior over 60 years old. Military and their family members can enter for $7.

Field trips and group discounts are provided should anyone wish to set up a birthday party or other event. Food and drink is allowed on the outdoor patio, and only water is allowed inside the museum. Due to space limitations strollers must be left in the cars. Every corner and area has been filed with exhibits and activities to keep the children entertained. There is just a small path for parents and children to walk around.

Exhibits are designed to teach about science, math, history, and the different cultures of the world. On certain days there are special exhibits and events to keep the museum new to members.
