SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills - Los Angeles - A New Definition Of Style and Luxury

Who says a hotel in Los Angeles has to be "old" to be luxurious. The SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills is the latest luxury hotel to fill up the Los Angeles skyline. With its grand opening on November 1 of 2008, the hotel quickly established itself as the place to stay in Los Angeles.

The SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills offers visitors an unparalleled hospitality experience. Its 297 guest rooms each feature 40 inch flat screen televisions, plush bedding, and unique amenities that make every room feel like a home away from home. Among the hotel's many services and amenities include a fitness facility, a spa, all-day dining courtesy of Chef Jos Andrs, a 24-hour a day laundry facility, and an amazing rooftop pool that overlooks the City of Angels.

The hotel was born out of the combined efforts of some of Los Angeles' major players, including Sam Nazarian the owner of SBE Entertainment, designer Philippe Starck who has given the hotel its unique look and feel, as well as Spanish chef Jose Andres, and retail king Murray Moss. With all of their efforts combined, the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills is in a word - unique.

The hotel's lobby is a feast for the senses. Visitors enter the hotel and are immediately greeted by a maze of furry pink chairs, images of monkeys, and a variety of accent pieces that can all curiously be purchased at the hotel's Moss Shop. The individual hotel rooms also feature their own unique little details, including egg-shaped bath tubs and a saints and sinners-themed mini bar. In early 2009, the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills will be the home of Ciel Spa.

Besides treating its guests well, the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills also manages to pamper their guests' four-legged friends. Every visiting dog receives a personalized letter, his or her own dog bed, a sign indicating there is a dog in the room, and bowls for their food and water. In addition, each pet also receives a welcome kit, which includes clean-up bags to be used while walking, chew toys, and even a set of personalized SLS identification tags.

The hotel's central location on La Cienega Boulevard makes it the perfect place to stay for visitors looking to do a little sightseeing and experience everything that Los Angeles has to offer. Among the other attractions and sites that are within ten miles of less of the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills are the shops on famed Rodeo Drive, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, NBC and Sony Picture Studios, Grauman's Chinese and the Kodak Theatres, the Hollywood Bowl, and the campus of UCLA. Visitors who are willing to travel a few more miles from the hotel will also find the Staples Center, the Greek Theatre, Universal Studios in Universal City, the Santa Monica Beach and Pier, the Getty Center, and the world famous Los Angeles Zoo.
