Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

Ronald Reagan Presidential Library is located at Presidential Drive in Simi Valley, California and is approximately one hour's drive from Los Angeles International Airport. The library houses over 55 million pages of Presidential and personal papers and over 40,000 gifts and artefacts chronicling the lives of Ronald and Nancy Reagan. The site is also the final resting places of the United States' 40th president.

Dedicated in 1991, the building is the largest of the 12 federally funded presidential libraries in terms of building size. It is open to the public daily from 10am to 5pm except on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day and onsite parking is free. Visitors will see various exhibits at the museum that chart the life of President Reagan including his acting and political careers.

Amongst the permanent exhibitions at the museum are full scale replicas of the Oval Office from Reagan's time in office and Air Force One as well as a piece of the Berlin Wall. There are some 1.6 million photographs, half a million feet of motion picture film and thousands of audio and video tapes held at the library. Visitors will be able to enjoy lunch at Reagan's Country Cafe, which opens from 9.30am to 4.30pm daily and drinks are available at The Ronald Reagan Pub.
