New Capitol Building


The New Capitol Building is located in Tallahassee, Florida. It replaced the old building in 1977. The building is a skyscraper style that regularly hosts Florida citizens, visitors to the city and state and the state legislators. The building provides scenic views, especially of the Gulf of Mexico. The building features a variety of architecturally interesting qualities, as well as offices, restrooms and elevators. The building is a popular destination for those visiting the area. It is a chance to learn about history and see law-making in action. Visitors are welcome to take self-guided tours of the entire building, as well as the Supreme Court Champers, and the House and Senate Chambers.
