Long Beach Sportfishing


Long Beach Sportfishing offers an array of crew-run boats and fishing excursions for beginner and professional anglers alike.

The Long Beach Sportfishing "fleet" consists of 6 boats that range in load from 6 to 90 passengers. Voyagers can book a whale watching cruise aboard the Native Sun to catch views of the migration of whales in Pacific waters. Other excursions offered aboard the Liberty visit Catalina Island when the tuna are active. These and other available excursions generally depart between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. with one overnight cruise departing at 9:00 p.m. Long Beach Sportfishing also offers private charter tours and dive tours.

Located at 555 Pico Avenue in Long Beach, the fishing outfitter resides just slightly up the Los Angeles River from Long Beach. At their location visitors will find The Tackle Store which sells a variety of fishing equipment, fishing licenses, and Long Beach Sportfishing apparel.

Long Beach Sportfishing is located about 30 minutes south of Los Angeles International Airport and is just blocks away from the Pacific Ocean. Other nearby tourist sites include the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific, The Queen Mary and a Russian submarine, Long Beach Museum of Art, and several parks local parks.
