Lankershim Art Gallery


Registered as a cultural landmark, Lankershim Arts Center is located in the NoHo District at the heart of North Hollywood.

The Lankershim Arts Center is a non-profit organization and provides top quality cultural arts. It houses the award-winning 800 Gallery and Road Theatre Company and resides in the former Department of Water and Power Company building, which was built in 1939 and has been registered as a cultural landmark.

The arts center offers various arts classes for patrons of all ages. It is also available to rent for performances, parties, seminars, workshops, auditions, or classes. The Road Theatre Company consists of a group of local artists dedicated to presenting quality performances and cultural enrichment to guests. The 800 Gallery, and intimate setting, is open from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays.

By car, the Lankershim Arts Center is located 35 minutes north of Los Angeles International Airport. The arts center is within walking distance of North Hollywood and Valley Village Parks. A short drive will take tourists to nearby Warner Bros Entertainment Inc., Universal Studios, the Kodak Theatre, the Walk of Fame, and the Hollywood sign, to name just a few.
