Knotts Soak City - Palm Springs


Open during summer months, Knotts Soak City in Palm Springs offers hours of summer fun in the water and sun. It is about one mile south of Palm Springs International Airport and tucked between two of Palm Springs' golf courses.

This 21-acre waterpark themed after a 1950's beach scene includes atractions such as free fall slides, tube slides, children's activity and swimming areas, a lazy river, wave pool, and a water fun house 22 water rollercoasters in all. Dare Devil Tower drops riders from a seven-story height, while Pacific Spin takes tubers into a funnel from a 75-foot drop. In addition, guests will also find on site various dining choices, shopping, games, and locker rooms.

Knotts Soak City offers locker and cabana rentals and food services. They do not allow any outside food or drink except for water. Guests can also find shaded picnic areas on a first come first served basis. Knotts Soak City has lifejackets for adult or child use, but does not allow outside life preservers. They also offer inner tubes to use at various water rides.

Other area tourist attractions include Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Palm Springs Art Museum, Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, Palm Springs Air Museum, and the Children's Discovery Museum.
