Hotel Triton- a Kimpton Hotel

Hotel Triton is a Kimpton Hotel brand, though it is slightly different than the other Kimptons. This San Francisco Hotel used nine artists to come up with the décor featured inside the hotel. The idea was to make the hotel as unique and hip as possible. Hotel Triton opened in 1991 with 140 rooms all with various designs to make each room wholly different. The lobby has a large mural that tells the story of San Francisco and the art scene. A variety of photos line the hallways and there are also a collection of celebrity suites.

Hotel Triton is located at Union Square based on green and eco friendly rooms and operations. A part of the Trust for Public Land donated to the hotel in order to make it green. Complimentary wireless internet is provided, along with a newspaper and morning coffee/ tea. Rooms have 32 inch flat screens with Nintendo, cable, and movies. There are also iHome iH5 docking stations with alarm clock, an honor bar, eco bath essentials, and in room recycling options. Many of the rooms face the city of San Francisco or the bay to add to the comfort and luxury.
